We have a family reunion in Hawaii that Ken, our son, organized last November. At first, it was to be only John, Ken and their families. When our other child, Lisa, heard about the diagnosis, she canceled all of her activities, and she and her family joined us. Fumi was very happy to be there with her all of her children and grandchildren. John had an idea that we should do a series of family portraits. Luckily, Ken was able to find an excellent photographer who took a wonderful series of photos. Our daughter-in-law, Leslie, tells us of a web site called “support circle.com” which proves to be very helpful as one can post progress of the patient and others can post messages for all to read.
