Conditions studied: behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD) [2], semantic dementia (SD) [3], progressive nonfluent aphasia (PNFA) [4], primary progressive aphasia (PPA) [5], frontotemporal dementia with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (FTD-ALS) [6], corticobasal degeneration (CBD) [7], progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) [8], Alzheimer's disease (AD) [9], amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) [10] and healthy aging [11]
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to help understand the clinical, genetic, imaging, emotional and diagnostic features of frontotemporal dementia (FTD). The study will collect longitudinal clinical, imaging, behavioral and autopsy data to be analyzed with the goal of improving clinical care for patients with FTD.
