Amanda LaMarre, PhD

Neuropsychology Fellow

Dr. LaMarre is a postdoctoral fellow in neuropsychology at the Memory and Aging Center.

Amanda LaMarre received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2009. During her time at UBC she investigated the relationship between impulsive personality traits and executive function ability in both young adults and individuals at genetic risk for frontotemporal degeneration (FTD). She completed her internship in clinical psychology at the University of Calgary, Foothills Medical Center.

Currently, Dr. LaMarre is a postdoctoral fellow in neuropsychology at the Memory and Aging Center. Her research interests are specifically focused on understanding the earliest cognitive, emotional and social changes that occur in behavioral variant FTD. She is also interested in understanding the ways in which personality traits may change with the onset of various neurodegenerative processes.
