How You Can Help
Private financial support enables the Memory and Aging Center to offer the highest quality of compassionate clinical care for patients and family members seen by a multidisciplinary team of experts. Insurance and patient fees cover only a fraction of the cost for this personalized, multidisciplinary treatment.

In addition to patient care, the staff at the Memory and Aging Center conducts scientific research and clinical trials so that laboratory breakthroughs can be transformed almost immediately into viable treatments. Gifts and pledges from individuals make this groundbreaking work possible.

All gifts are tax-deductible.

Donate at Tax Time

California law allows taxpayers to contribute money to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Research Fund by checking a box on your state income tax return. Contributions through the tax check-off may be claimed as charitable contributions on your tax returns the following year.

To contribute, go to line 401 on your state tax form 540 where the Alzheimer’s Research Fund is named. Indicate the amount that you’d like to contribute. That amount will either be deducted from your refund, or it will be added to the amount you owe when making your payment. Funds are distributed through grants awarded by the Director of the California Department of Health Services through a competitive process. All awards are to scientists based at California public or private non-profit organizations.

Check code 401 and support Alzheimer's research
