Harli manages the NIH-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the New Approaches to Dementia Heterogeneity project, an NIH funded research program. The ADRC is a longitudinal study following a cohort of 400 patients for a period of 5 to 10 years that involves multiple projects aimed at improving the understanding of how the brain and behavior is affected by neurodegenerative disease.
