JOB OVERVIEW
The Leadership, Recruitment, and Selection Manager coordinates two critical functions within the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI): the leadership training program for Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health based at UCSF and Trinity College Dublin and recruitment and selection of GBHI’s future Atlantic Fellows.

As coordinator of the leadership training program, this position is responsible for working closely with the GBHI leadership faculty leads and learning experience lead to design and implement the leadership training curriculum, including annual leadership retreats for new fellows, regular curated sessions and integration of leadership competencies throughout the curriculum.

As manager of recruitment and selection, this position works closely with the GBHI Recruitment and Selection Committee to develop comprehensive strategies for recruiting high-caliber applicants from diverse international and national geographies and broad disciplines to the program, as well as coordinating the selection of the top applicants into the program. This position requires exemplary inter-personal and communication skills, strong organizational and administrative skills, and the ability to adapt to change within a continually-evolving, dynamic fellowship training program.

GLOBAL BRAIN HEALTH INSTITUTE
The Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) was established in 2015 with two co-founding sites at the University of California, San Francisco (USA) and Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). GBHI works to reduce the scale and impact of dementia by training and supporting a new generation of leaders in brain health.

GBHI’s unique training program is a 12-month fellowship where fellows come from a wide range of inter-professional backgrounds including doctors, lawyers, writers, artists, caregivers and policy makers. GBHI competes to attract high quality, international candidates and seeks to raise greater awareness of the program through written materials, social media and strategic communications. More information is available at www.gbhi.org.

GBHI is integrated within the Memory and Aging Center at UCSF.

MEMORY AND AGING CENTER
The mission of the Memory and Aging Center (MAC) is to provide the highest quality of care for individuals with cognitive problems, to conduct research on causes and cures for degenerative brain diseases, and to educate health professionals, patients and their families. More information is available at www.memory.ucsf.edu
