We are looking to hire an International Research Manager that could independently develop and/or oversee research proposals, awards, and/or transactions related to contracts and grants. Under the direction of a principal investigator and a senior research manager, the candidate will manage and maintain contract and grant records in compliance with institutional research sponsor policies. This research manager will have the great opportunity of working with collaborators from Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Argentina and Turkey.  Our lab aims to promote equal representation from diverse populations worldwide in cognitive and dementia research by addressing current calls for culturally and linguistically appropriate cognitive assessment tests, stimulates the development of novel tests for syndromic differentiation in different languages, and enhances our understanding to various neural mechanism by promoting language diversity in cognitive research. We encourage candidates that enjoy diversity work and have similar passions/aims to join our team. 

The successful candidate will be an independent, detailed oriented individual with drive and focus. In addition to consistently facilitate complex proposal-related work such as grants / contracts which require task budgets, option years, multiple investigators and multiple sub awards, he/she will provide operational leadership to a group of Clinical Research Coordinator (6-8), while monitoring workload and productivity.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
