The International Research Program Coordinator provides administrative and program management for a large and growing research program within the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI).  She/he provides administrative coordination for 35+ international subcontracts for institutions primarily located in Latin America, providing budget preparation guidance for new subcontracts as well as subcontract amendments, as well as invoice review before invoices are submitted for payment. 

The Program Coordinator also provides program management for a large research collaboration, coordinating multi-national research committees and the annual meeting of researchers.  Additionally, the Program Coordinator assists the investigators and program manager with development of new grant proposals, including liasing with UCSF’s pre-award team, preparing budgets and budget justifications, managing submission timelines, and preparing IRB and administrative documents for the grant submission.  The Program Coordinator works in a mission-driven work environment and is adept at managing multiple competing priorities.  Written and spoken Spanish language skills are a plus.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
