Multitudes is a project from UCSF that aims to provide all the schools and students in California with free tools to improve teaching in literacy and math. The team has created a set of games that kids play to help their teachers understand where they are strong, and where they need help. Initially, this platform targets Kindergarten and First Grade students and their reading skills, with advice for teachers to tailor how they teach. The tools are backed by leading neuroscience and educational research to make sure we can deliver on our mission to serve all of California’s young students, no matter their language, location, or need.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for continuing to develop the platform and identifying and investigating new opportunities for improvement. You will be working with a highly diverse set of stakeholders, from scientists, to teachers, to educational leaders. The PM develops project plans and manages the design, development, testing, and documentation of select products, services or enhancements. The PM also creates and executes plans for the development and launch of new features and content. The PM will be a part of public outreach activities and informational campaigns to promote awareness of the Multitudes platform and gather community feedback to ensure we are being equitable, and accurate across the state.
