**Contracted position for 1 year from the date of hire

Supervises the daily operations and activities of a small to medium-sized field research site/study including but not limited to research in environmental, public health, social, or biological science disciplines. Typically works in remote settings, with a high degree of autonomy to independently carry out daily supervisory activities. Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.

UCSF Dyslexia Center is looking for energetic, committed colleagues to supervise field research related to the Multitudes project. Multitudes is a new digital platform, free for all California public schools, that connects neuroscience research at the University of California with the needs of California public school students. The current phase of the project focuses on the early identification of Kindergarten First, and Second Grade students who may face challenges learning to read.

Multitudes Field Research Supervisors oversee the daily operations and activities of several research sites and studies for the Multitudes program, a collection of state-wide field research studies contributing to the development of a free, culturally and linguistically affirmative early literacy screener for California public schools. Works both onsite at UCSF and in a series of schools with a high degree of autonomy to independently carry out daily supervisory activities. Directs subordinates to complete field research data collection activities according to established guidelines, procedures, and policies.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $61,200 - $130,600 (Annual Rate).
