Argentina Lario Lago is the Biospecimen & Genetics Programs Manager at the Memory and Aging Center. 

Laura Wise

Administrative Officer

Laura Wise was born and raised in San Francisco. She has a bachelor of science degree in health education from San Francisco State University. Laura always had a passion for promoting health education in underserved communities and serving as an advocate for access to better healthcare and medical treatment resources for people of color. She also has a passion for supporting troubled youth in navigating mental and physical health challenges.

Ana Tyler

Program Manager

Ana Tyler, JD, MA, received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and her law degree with a concentration in health law and policy and master’s degree in bioethics from Case Western Reserve University. After completing a fellowship in Clinical Ethics from Sutter Health (California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco), she worked as a clinical ethicist at Beaumont Health in the metro Detroit, Michigan area.

Jack Taylor, BS

Clincial Research Coordinator

Jack Taylor is an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator in the Boxer Lab of the Memory and Aging Center, focused on piloting and implementing smartphone-based cognitive assessments into ALLFTD (the ARTFL-LEFFTDS Longitudinal Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration multisite research consortium).

Samantha Cheung

Administrative Officer

Samantha Cheung is an administrative officer for the clinical trials group. Samantha graduated from the University of San Francisco with a BA degree in Psychology and a minor in Child and Youth Studies.

Amanda Li

Clinical Social Worker

As a social worker at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center Clinic, Amanda Li assists with brief psychotherapy, resource coordination and education, and psychosocial assessment to work with the multidisciplinary team with identifying areas of support that she can provide and areas of strength/growth for patients and their families.

Cesar Hernandez

Data Liaison

Cesar holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and ecology from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Boston University. Prior to joining the UCSF Memory and Aging Center, Cesar worked in the Women’s Health Clinical Research Center (WHCRC) at UCSF managing data for the San Francisco Mammography Registry (SFMR) database and various clinical trial studies.

Kris Noyes

Research Lab Supervisor

Kris is a research lab supervisor at the Memory and Aging Center with 11 years of progressive experience in clinical research. She is currently focused on laboratory operations. Her education is in laboratory sciences and allied health.

Diana Mei

Clinical Research Coordinator

Diana is a clinical research coordinator for the NIH-designated Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at the Memory and Aging Center, where she coordinates visits for Mandarin-speaking participants. She graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior.

Athena Schlereth

Autopsy Coordinator

Athena studied Integrative Biology and Classics at UC Berkeley. She was involved in archaeological research and assisted the excavation of a prehistoric cemetery in Greece. On campus, she was a volunteer EMT and worked as a chef for her housing cooperative. Her experiences volunteering in hospice and nursing facilities led her to the Memory and Aging Center, where she assists patients, families, and caregivers with the autopsy program.
