Nhat Bui, NP

Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Nhật Bùi earned her master’s degree in nursing here at UCSF in 2016. She is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Nhật assists with the Alzheimer’s Dementia Research Center and clinical trial projects by conducting patient assessments and caregiver interviews for observational research studies and clinical drug trials.

Alyson Marcelo

Practice Coordinator

Alyson is a practice coordinator that handles many sub-specialty clinics for the MAC such as Huntington’s disease, movement disorders and genetics. She graduated from CSU Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in health science. She enjoys baking desserts, learning about the Korean culture and language, and has a passion for helping all those in need.

Morgan Blackburn

Clinical Research Coordinator

Morgan is a clinical research coordinator in the Rosen Lab who works on the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI), Longitudinal Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Study (LEADS) and UCSF Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) studies.

Taylor Johnson

Staff Research Associate

Taylor joined the Yokoyama Lab at the Memory and Aging Center from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he studied both microbiology and enology. Taylor also helps manage the Biospecimens Core. Prior to his start at UCSF, Taylor worked as a Research Assistant at Cal Poly in cell culture utilizing various commercial probiotics and Vibrio parahaemolyticus to understand human intestinal epithelial and immune cell relationships upon probiotic and pathogenic challenge.

Liwen Zhang, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow

Liwen Zhang is a postdoctoral fellow in the Lee Dementia Imaging Genetics Lab. She received her PhD in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Groningen in 2016. After that, she worked as a research fellow at the National University of Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School jointly, where she worked on Alzheimer’s disease using neuroimaging methods.

Lisa Kritikos, AGNP

Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Lisa Kritikos earned her master’s degree in nursing at UCSF School of Nursing in 2020. She is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Rea Antoniou

Associate Specialist

Rea obtained her BA degree in psychology (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece). As a bachelor thesis student, she was introduced to the fascinating world of research by undertaking a behavioral study probing the association between cheating, creativity and moral reasoning. The question which psychological mechanisms tilt our moral compass sparked her interest. However, pieces were definitely missing from understanding such a perplex topic in depth.

Celeste Fong

Clinical Research Coordinator

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Celeste earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While there, she took several philosophy courses, inspiring her interest in bioethics. Afterwards, Celeste enrolled in the Masters of Bioethics program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her thesis research consisted of examining ethical perspectives of identity in patients who had undergone deep brain stimulation for treatment resistant depression.
