The Multitudes Project is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team! This key position will be responsible for the following:
  • Overseeing and maintaining the infrastructure of the Multitudes application, in collaboration with University of California, San Francisco IT
  • Defining security best practices and, when needed, working with outside vendors and UCSF IT to support application security
  • Supporting Multitudes’ Lead Engineer in feature development, bug fixes, and tech debt cleanup as needed

  • Has a strong background in develops and infrastructure at small to medium scale
  • Has the breadth to contribute as needed across the full stack of the Multitudes project
  • Has the drive, motivation and grit to operate as a key part of a very small team
  • Has the flexibility to work in an environment that is very different from a traditional tech company
  • Is highly motivated by making an impact in the space of dyslexia research and intervention

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $132,000 - $197,900 (Annual Rate).
