This is a contract position that will end one year from the hire date but could be extended based on funding. Supervises the daily operations and activities of several research sites and studies for the Multitudes program, a collection of state-wide field research studies contributing to the development of a free, culturally and linguistically affirming early literacy screener for California public schools. Acts as technical advisor and resource for research activities. Works both onsite at UCSF and in a series of schools, with a high degree of autonomy. Provides supervision of staff according to established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Recommends changes to policies and practices. Identifies risks and responds accordingly.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
