Sean Coulborn, PhD, MSc

Postdoctoral Scholar
Fields of Interest:

Sean Coulborn is a postdoctoral researcher at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center under the mentorship of Dr. David Perry. His research focuses on improving the certainty of clinical diagnosis and predicting the pathological diagnosis in neurodegenerative diseases.

Prior to UCSF, Sean undertook a postdoctoral position at UC Berkeley focussing on understanding the neural mechanisms involved with decision-making and relating abnormalities in these processes to dimensional measures of psychopathology. He received his PhD degree in Psychology from the University of Birmingham, UK, investigating the neural correlates of consciousness using multimodal imaging methods.
