Florentina Morello-García, PhD, is a postdoctoral scholar in the ALBA Language Neurobiology Lab at the UCSF Fein Memory and Aging Center. Her research focuses on language and speech changes in neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular emphasis on primary progressive aphasia (PPA).
Dr. Morello-García is originally from Argentina. She completed a postgraduate specialization in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Buenos Aires and later earned her PhD in psychology from the same institution. During her doctoral training, she completed a research rotation in the Department of Neurology at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Spain through a Fundación Carolina fellowship.
She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Neurosciences (INEU) at Fleni in Argentina. Her doctoral and postdoctoral training were supported by fellowships from the Argentine National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET).
