Stacey Yamamoto

Assistant Director for Program and Strategy, GBHI
Fields of Interest: 

As the Assistant Director for Programs and Strategy, Stacey oversees education and training at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) including recruitment and selection, curriculum, and monitoring and evaluation of the Atlantic Fellows Program. She oversees the administration of the Equity in Brain Health Certificate Program at UCSF as well as operational areas of international event management and communications. Stacey is also responsible for delivering data-informed strategic insights and recommendations, identifying opportunities for adaptation in an effort to shape and sustain programs to achieve impact.
Prior to GBHI, Stacey worked in the public health field with roles in academia, the non-profit sector, government agencies, health care networks and direct patient care. She obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science degree in public health/global health from the University of Washington.
