San-Hae Im, PhD
San-Hae is a postdoctoral researcher at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center under the mentorship of Dr. Claire Clelland. His research focuses on developing delivery systems for CRISPR-based therapies to treat neurodegenerative diseases.
Originally from South Korea, San-Hae completed his PhD degree in Professor Chung’s lab at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he focused on nanoparticle-based gene therapeutics. In particular, he studied CRISPR/Cas9 and mRNA delivery through conjugates and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs).
