Oscar Robles-Archila
Oscar is the Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator at the Yokoyama Lab. He supports the research focusing on the genetic, structural and cognitive characterization of Alzheimer's disease and frontotemporal dementia in Central and South American populations.
Oscar graduated with a degree in psychology from the Catholic University of Colombia. As part of his program, he completed a one-year internship at the Military Hospital of Colombia where he had the chance to support the Health Psychology and Neuropsychology departments. His honor thesis was focused on the development of a neuropsychological profile of Colombian kids with high-functioning autism.
He values the multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach that the Yokoyama lab applies in order to deepen its understanding of neurodegenerative diseases.
In his free time, Oscar enjoys hikes and bike rides around the Bay Area.
