International Network for Cross-Linguistic Research on Brain Health (INCLUDE)

Purpose of the Study

INCLUDE’s mission is to address the lack of diversity in brain health research, particularly in the study of non-English speakers and underrepresented populations. By promoting cross-linguistic and cross-cultural research, INCLUDE aims to improve early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of brain disorders globally.

Specific aims of INCLUDE:

  1. Fostering cross-linguistic research: Identifying language-specific markers and uncovering generalizable patterns across diverse languages.
  2. Promoting language diversity: Encouraging representation of diverse languages and cultures in brain health studies.
  3. Developing valid tools: Supporting the creation of cross-linguistically and cross-culturally reliable tools for both research and clinical use.
  4. Enhancing visibility: Raising awareness and amplifying the impact of neurolinguistic research through outreach and dissemination to diverse audiences.
