Clinical Research Coordinator

Leslie Magana is a clinical research coordinator in the Memory and Aging Center working with Dr. Howie Rosen and Cecilia Alagappan. In this role, she oversees the ADDPCP (Advancing the Diagnosis of Dementia in Primary Care Practice) project, focused on improving primary care assessment and the diagnosis of dementia using the Assessment of Cognitive Complaints Toolkit.

International Program Coordinator, GBHI

Matenyeh supports faculty and fellows in the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) to conduct research projects in East Africa, including HMCA-DP and BRIDGE Africa.

Janet Allen-Williams

Academic Assistant

Janet Allen-Williams joined the UCSF Department of Neurology in 2015. Since April 2023, Janet has been serving as an Academic Assistant for the Memory and Aging Center, providing Academic Core Team services for the education team.
 

Alessandra Khodaverdi

Fellowship Coordinator, GBHI

Alessandra serves as the primary point of contact for the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program at GBHI. While monitoring the fellows' progress and providing programmatic support, she facilitates connections within the Memory and Aging Center and the UCSF community.

Andjelika Milicic

International Database Support and Capacity Building Analyst, GBHI

Andjelika works with the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health and Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) staff to support data-related needs for projects ranging from neuroscience to clinical and social research.

Winnie brings extensive experience in project management, software development and web technologies to the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) through her work across many industries including non-profit scientific publishing, biotechnology, human resources software, consulting and legal services.

Melinda Matice

Mindy supports the learning environment at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI), both online and in the classroom. She is adapting her expertise as a teacher educator from traditional classroom environments for a "flipped" class and remote learning while also supporting faculty to adapt content for this new environment.

Niall Kavanagh is a communications officer with the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI). Based at UCSF, he is responsible for developing and sharing the stories and messages of GBHI and the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health.

Program Director for Alumni Relations & Special Initiatives, Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health

Camellia Latta is the Program Director for Alumni Relations & Special Initiatives at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) UCSF site. She leads alumni relations work at GBHI to advance a global network of brain health leaders as Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health. She also manages the partnership with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and UCSF (GBHI and UCSF Memory and Aging Center), and she is a flutist in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Stacey Yamamoto

Assistant Director for Program and Strategy, GBHI

As the Assistant Director for Programs and Strategy, Stacey oversees education and training at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) including recruitment and selection, curriculum, and monitoring and evaluation of the Atlantic Fellows Program. She oversees the administration of the Equity in Brain Health Certificate Program at UCSF as well as operational areas of international event management and communications.
