Leslie Magana
Leslie Magana is a clinical research coordinator in the Memory and Aging Center working with Dr. Howie Rosen and Cecilia Alagappan. In this role, she oversees the ADDPCP (Advancing the Diagnosis of Dementia in Primary Care Practice) project, focused on improving primary care assessment and the diagnosis of dementia using the Assessment of Cognitive Complaints Toolkit.
Previously, she worked at the UCSF Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies (IHPS) with Dr. Bardach and the FIQS (Family Input for Quality and Safety) team. This project focused on the implementation of a mobile tool designed for patients and caregivers to make real-time safety event observations in an inpatient setting, with the goal of identifying potentially preventable safety events and improving inpatient quality of care.
