Bindu joined the Seeley Lab in February 2023 as a research associate and assists with the Neurodegenerative Disease Brain Bank (NDBB), immunohistochemistry, and other technical and computational work for various projects. She received her BS degree in Chemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her undergraduate studies, she was a research assistant working on a NASA-funded project at Diao Lab developing plant sensors for space exploration.
