Karin (“Kari”) joined the Boxer Lab’s Clinical Trials team as a Project Manager in 2023. A San Francisco native (born at UCSF!), she has managed intervention research for over 15 years, the last ten aiming to reduce stress in family caregivers of people with dementia.
 
Kari holds a BA degree from San Francisco State University and an MA degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. When she’s not running a trial, you can find her at home spoiling a cat, being a tourist in her own town, or singing with the SF Choral Society.
