International research

Shireen provides oversight for resource allocation, risk mitigation, budgeting, and logistics for the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center. She works closely with the Department of Neurology and other groups to optimize the administration of the program within UCSF.

Matenyeh supports faculty and fellows at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) in conducting research projects in low- and middle-income countries, including BRIDGE and BRIDGE-Africa, with a focus on project coordination and data management.

Sarah McDonagh supports fellows and faculty at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) in managing international research projects, with a focus on the BRIDGE portfolio. She also coordinates GBHI events and programming that foster engagement among fellows, alumni, and partners.
