Francesca Pei

Chief Operating Officer, Multitudes, ALBA Language Neurobiology Lab

In addition to her doctoral degree in Developmental Neuroscience from the University of Pisa, Francesca Pei brings over 20 years of leadership, operational management, and strategic planning experience across a variety of health care, research, academic, and educational settings. She joined UCSF in 2022 as the Chief Operating Officer for Applied Neuroscience projects in the ALBA Lab at the Fein Memory and Aging Center.

Carol Soppe, MS

Clinical Research Supervisor

Ms. Soppe is the PET Program Clinical Research Supervisor working directly with the Rabinovici Lab. She is deeply involved with both faculty and staff in monitoring operational issues, regulatory compliance, and project development. Besides project management expertise, Carol brings over 20 years of research experience spanning basic immunology, metabolic diseases, oncology, transplantation, and autoimmunity.
