Purpose of the Study
The purpose of our study is to better understand how caregivers, family members, and friends of older adults (with and without dementia) make care decisions in order to support them better in the future.
Study Details
Inclusion Criteria:
- Are a family member or friend taking care of an older adult with dementia, a healthy older adult, or a family member or friend of a healthy older adult
- Are an adult (18 or older)
- Can read and understand English

- None
What to Expect
- Testing: 15–30 minutes of surveys on your computer or smartphone
- Frequency of Visits: The surveys are completed three times a year for three years in total. Enrolled healthy older adults will only complete 1–2 surveys per year.
- Materials Needed: None
- Costs: If you are enrolled as a caregiver, you will receive a gift card after each survey you complete. If you are enrolled as a healthy older adult, you will also receive a gift card after each survey you complete. If you are enrolled as the relative of a healthy older adult, you will usually receive a gift card after you complete a survey; however, in some cases, we will email the gift card to your older adult study partner.
