Fattin Wekselman received her BS degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Syiah Kuala in Indonesia. Following the 2004 tsunami, she joined the United Nations World Food Program and other NGOs to reunite families, organize the feeding of displaced people, train teachers and mothers, and assist families in rebuilding their independence. She has also worked with the French Engineering Consulting Firm SOGREAH, and in Sepon, Laos as the Sustainability and Community Development Manager at one of the largest gold and copper mines. She currently serves as coordinator of the Bay Area’s first Muslim-Jewish Partnership.
