Kevin grew up in the Bay Area and is completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in molecular and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley, with an expected graduation in May 2026. As an undergraduate, he developed a strong interest in foundational science research through work in the Nogales and Tjian/Darzacq laboratories. He also cultivated a sustained commitment to outreach for patients with limited English proficiency, with a focus on improving access to care.
At the UCSF Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center, Kevin contributes to the MULTIVERSE project, which examines how language influences brain health. His work reflects a broader interest in integrating basic science and clinical research to advance equitable health outcomes.
