Sandeepa attended undergraduate school at UC Berkeley, obtaining a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and a minor in English Literature. She went to UCSF for medical school and remained there for neurology residency. She is passionate about work surrounding health care disparities, and her primary research focus is on neurocognitive profiling of older homeless populations in the Bay Area. She is currently a fellow at the Memory and Aging Center and also spends her time working with Dr. Engstrom at the general neurology/neuromuscular clinics.
