Ataxia

Chelsea Chen is a clinical research coordinator with the Geschwind Lab at the Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center. She oversees studies involving spinocerebellar ataxia and multiple systems atrophy.

Chelsea previously worked for the Bove Lab at the UCSF Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroinflammation Center and studied psychology at UC Berkeley. She plans to go to medical school.

Michael Geschwind, MD, PhD, is a professor of neurology at the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences and a clinician-researcher at the UCSF Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center. Dr. Geschwind specializes in the evaluation, management, and treatment of rapidly progressive dementias, movement disorders, and neurogenetic conditions.
