
Shubir Dutt, PhD
Shubir Dutt, PhD, is an assistant professor and licensed clinical neuropsychologist at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center. Dr. Dutt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in cognitive science from UC Berkeley and a doctorate in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology and geropsychology, from the University of Southern California. He completed his predoctoral internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at UCSF.
At the UCSF Memory and Aging Center Clinic, Dr. Dutt sees patients and supervises trainees in the clinic and across the center’s various research programs. He also plays a key role in training and leading didactic sessions for neuropsychology trainees through the UCSF Neuropsychology Training Program.
Dr. Dutt’s research and clinical work integrate multimodal approaches—including clinical evaluations, imaging techniques, and biofluid marker analyses—to better understand preclinical risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease (AD), frontotemporal lobar degeneration spectrum disorders (FTLD), and other neurodegenerative conditions.
