Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Zoe was born and raised in Northern California. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in December of 2023 with a degree in biology with a neuroscience focus. Previously, Zoe worked as an undergraduate research associate in the Campbell Lab at WashU School of Medicine, investigating brain volume differences and volumetric progression patterns in Parkinson’s disease clinical subtypes through MRI imaging.

Jessica Pasqua, MD, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical-Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. There she was part of an advocacy and support group for former foster youth which inspired her to pursue a career in medicine with a focus on serving those with limited access to medical care due to poverty and social inequity. She then completed her Medical Degree (MD), her Adult Neurology residency, and her Epilepsy fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Claudio graduated from Harvard University in May 2022 with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a secondary focus in Global Health and Health Policy. During college, he had the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of Professor Richard Losick, exploring the complexities of chronic microbial infections for his senior research thesis.

Nikhil Desai, MSc

Specialist

Nikhil joined the Seeley Lab at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center in December 2023 as a Specialist. After completing his MSc degree in Neuroscience, Nikhil’s career has focused on developing digital solutions in diverse life-science environments, including academia (Columbia University), large corporations (Abbott Labs), and biomedical startups. Nikhil left Abbott in 2022 after 17 years; one of his accomplishments was leading the software organization that created the mobile app for the blockbuster FreeStyle Libre product.
