Lily Talley

Lily Talley, BS

Research Associate

 Lily joined the Seeley Lab in September 2023 as a research associate and assists with the brain bank, immunohistochemistry, and other technical work for various projects. Lily received a BA degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2023. As an undergraduate, Lily was a research assistant for a lab studying the neural pathways of feeding behavior in Drosophila, along with working in public health, sexual health education, and sexual violence and harassment prevention.

Gautam Tammewar

Gautam Tammewar, MD

Behavioral Neurology Clinical Fellow

Gautam Tammewar completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in molecular and cell biology with an emphasis on neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley. He previously worked at the Memory and Aging Center in the lab of Dr. Gil Rabinovici from 2013–2016, both as an undergraduate and as a full-time research associate after graduation. During this time, his research focused on the use of MRI and PET as imaging biomarkers of typical and atypical Alzheimer’s disease.

Jacqueline Tang, BA

Research Administrative Coordinator

Jacqueline is a Research Administrative Coordinator supporting the work of Dr. Eden Barragan and Dr. Hilary Heuer in the Boxer Lab.

Jack Taylor, BS

Clincial Research Coordinator

Jack Taylor is an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator in the Boxer Lab of the Memory and Aging Center, focused on piloting and implementing smartphone-based cognitive assessments into ALLFTD (the ARTFL-LEFFTDS Longitudinal Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration multisite research consortium).

Boon Lead Tee, MD, MA

Assistant Professor

Dr. Tee is a neurologist from Taiwan and an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute. She completed her medical and master’s degrees at National Taiwan University and her residency at National Taiwan University Hospital and En-Chu-Kong Hospital. She co-directs the Chinese outreach effort at UCSF Memory and Aging Center.

Kamryn Thomas

Kamryn Thomas, BS

Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Kamryn is an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator in the Community Outreach Program at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center and works with Dr. Charles Windon.

Kamryn graduated from Howard University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. At Howard, she worked as an emergency medicine medical scribe. Following her time at the MAC, Kamryn plans to pursue medical school and a master’s degree in public health. 

In her free time, she enjoys working out and crocheting.

Charlie Toohey

Manager of Technology and Data Management

Charlie Toohey is the Manager of Technology and Data Management at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center. He is the senior software architect for the LAVA Clinical Research Management System, a comprehensive database of patient assessment, laboratory and diagnostic data which supports many inter-related research protocols. LAVA source code is available on GitHub in the “lava” repository.

Winnie Tsou

Technical Project Manager

Winnie brings extensive experience in project management, software development and web technologies to the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) through her work across many industries including non-profit scientific publishing, biotechnology, human resources software, consulting and legal services.

Elena Tsoy, PhD

Assistant Professor

Elena Tsoy was awarded her PhD degree in counseling psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She completed her predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at Tewksbury State Hospital and her postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at UCSF Memory and Aging Center.
