Associate Professional Researcher
Ganna Blazhenets, PhD, is an associate professional researcher at the UCSF Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center, part of the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences. With a background in physics and neuroimaging, Dr. Blazhenets uses advanced brain imaging and analytical methods to study the biological processes underlying neurodegenerative diseases. Her research aims to identify factors that contribute to neurodegeneration and could ultimately improve early diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis for people living with these conditions.
