Monica Zegers Larrain

Postdoctoral Scholar

Mónica Zegers is a postdoctoral scholar at the UCSF Dyslexia Center. She obtained a BA degree in Psychology and a professional degree in Clinical Psychology at Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile. She earned her MA and PhD degrees in Human Development and Education at UC Berkeley.

Ehud Zeltzer

Behavioral Neurology Clinical Fellow

Dr. Ehud Zeltzer joined the Memory and Aging Center (MAC) in 2021. He graduated from the Medical School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2010. He then served as a flight surgeon and clinic commander in the Israeli Air Force until 2015. He completed his Neurology Residency in Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), where he served as chief resident and passed the Neurology Board Exams with honors.

Karen Zhang

Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Karen graduated from Northwestern University with her BA degree in Music and Biological Sciences. During her time at Northwestern, she coordinated and taught with the Academy of Music and Arts for Special Needs (AMASE), a student organization that provides free music lessons and arts enrichment to Chicagoland youth with disabilities. As a music student, Karen frequently performed as a member of the Northwestern Saxophone Ensemble, Northwestern Saxophone Quartets, and Northwestern Symphonic Band.

Liwen Zhang, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow

Liwen Zhang is a postdoctoral fellow in the Lee Dementia Imaging Genetics Lab. She received her PhD in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Groningen in 2016. After that, she worked as a research fellow at the National University of Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School jointly, where she worked on Alzheimer’s disease using neuroimaging methods.
